Noah Basil is a legal scholar and leading expert in the Law of First Contact. After graduating from Harvard, he worked as an investigative journalist at the Village Voice, taught at Columbia Law School, and practiced as a civil litigator and criminal defense attorney in the U.S. federal courts.
